Field Routes Integration Setup
Complete guide to connecting your Field Routes account
Connect PestBooker to Field Routes (PestRoutes) to automatically sync new bookings directly into your dispatch system. When a customer books online, their information, service details, and appointment are created in Field Routes instantly - no manual data entry required. This integration saves hours of administrative work and eliminates booking errors. This guide covers the standard single-account setup on Settings → Integration. If you are on an Enterprise plan with multiple offices, use Dashboard → Enterprise → Connect instead, which supports importing offices from one or more Field Routes accounts - see "Enterprise & Multi-Office Setup".
Requirements
- Active Field Routes (PestRoutes) subscription with API access enabled
- Field Routes login credentials (admin or manager access)
- Admin role in your PestBooker organization
- About 10-15 minutes to complete setup

Find Your Field Routes API Credentials
- Log in to Field Routes at https://[yourcompany].pestroutes.com (replace [yourcompany] with your subdomain)
- Note your subdomain - this is the part before '.pestroutes.com' (e.g., 'acmepest' if you log in at acmepest.pestroutes.com)
- Contact Field Routes support or your account manager to request API access credentials
- You'll need three credentials: Authentication Token, Authentication Key, and your API Subdomain
- Keep these credentials secure - treat them like passwords
Enter Credentials in PestBooker
- In PestBooker, go to Dashboard → Settings → Integration
- Scroll to the 'Field Routes API Credentials' section (blue background)
- In the 'Authentication Token' field, paste your Field Routes auth token
- In the 'Authentication Key' field, paste your Field Routes auth key
- In the 'API Subdomain' field, enter just your subdomain (e.g., 'acmepest' - not the full URL)
- Click 'Save Changes' at the bottom of the page
- You'll see green checkmarks (✓ Configured) next to each field when saved successfully
Select Your Source ID (Required)
- After saving credentials, the Source ID dropdown will populate automatically
- Source IDs track where leads come from in Field Routes (website, referral, advertisement, etc.)
- Choose the source that represents 'Online Booking' or 'Website' - this tracks all web bookings
- If you don't see your sources, click the refresh button next to the dropdown
- This field is REQUIRED - bookings won't sync without a Source ID selected
- Click 'Save Changes' after selecting your source
Select Sales Employee (Recommended)
- After saving credentials, the Sales Employee dropdown will populate with your team members
- This determines who gets credit for online bookings in Field Routes
- Choose the employee who should receive commission and attribution for web bookings
- This affects sales reports and commission tracking for web bookings
- If you don't select one, bookings will sync but won't have a salesperson assigned
- You can change this later if your commission structure changes
Test Your Connection
- Make a test booking on your booking page (get your link from Dashboard → Settings → Booker)
- Fill out the booking form completely and submit it
- Wait 1-2 minutes for the sync to complete
- Log in to Field Routes and check for the new customer/appointment
- Verify all data transferred correctly: customer name, phone, email, service type, appointment date/time
- If the booking doesn't appear, check the Troubleshooting section below
Pro Tips
- • New bookings are created in Field Routes automatically as part of checkout - no manual step required
- • The integration creates both the customer record AND the appointment in one step
- • Make sure your Source ID is selected - this is the most common setup mistake
- • Your API credentials are stored securely and encrypted - they're never exposed to customers
- • If you change your Field Routes password, your API credentials stay the same
- • Test with a fake customer first (use your own email) to verify everything works
- • Enterprise accounts managing multiple offices or Field Routes accounts should use Dashboard → Enterprise → Connect instead of this page
