Pre-Launch Checklist
Final verification before sharing your booking link
Before you share your booking page with customers, take 15 minutes to verify everything is configured correctly. This checklist ensures a professional launch and prevents common embarrassments like missing services, broken branding, or sync failures. Think of this as your final quality check before going live.
Requirements
- Access to your PestBooker dashboard
- Your booking page link ready to test
- 5-15 minutes to complete all checks
- Optional: A second person to review with fresh eyes
1
Verify Service Tiers Are Configured and Active
- Go to Dashboard → Services and confirm at least 1-2 service tiers are set to 'Active'
- Check that 'Service Offerings' (pest types) are selected - customers need to know what pests you treat
- Review pricing for each active tier - is it correct and competitive for your market?
- Verify each active tier has a PestRoutes Service ID configured (required for activation)
- Confirm that all active tiers display correctly to customers
- Visit your booking page and verify all active service tiers appear correctly with the right pricing
2
Test the Complete Booking Flow
- Make a test booking from start to finish using your own email
- Use a realistic customer name (or mark it clearly as 'TEST - DELETE')
- Complete all form fields exactly as a customer would
- Verify the date/time picker shows available slots
- Check that the confirmation page displays all correct information
- Confirm you received the booking confirmation email within 2-3 minutes
- Review the confirmation email - does it look professional and include all details?
3
Verify Field Routes Integration (If Applicable)
- If you're using Field Routes, make a test booking
- Wait 1-2 minutes for sync to complete
- Log into Field Routes and verify the customer and appointment were created
- Check that all data synced correctly: name, phone, email, service, date/time
- Verify the Source ID is correct (should show your 'Online Booking' source)
- Confirm the Sales Employee is assigned if you configured one
- If sync failed, revisit the Field Routes Integration Setup section
4
Check Branding and Visual Appearance
- Visit your booking page and verify your logo displays correctly
- Check that your business name is spelled correctly everywhere
- Review brand colors - do they match your company branding?
- Verify your booking page URL is professional and easy to share
- Check for any placeholder text like 'Your Company Name' that needs updating
- Review the footer - does it include your business information?
- Take a screenshot - would you be proud to share this with customers?
5
Mobile Experience Check
- Open your booking page on a smartphone (most customers book on mobile)
- Verify the page is mobile-responsive and doesn't require zooming
- Test that all buttons are easy to tap (not too small or close together)
- Check that form fields are easy to fill out on mobile keyboard
- Test the date picker on mobile - it should be touch-friendly
- Complete a full booking on mobile to ensure the entire flow works
- Ask a colleague to test on their phone (different device = different experience)
6
Email and Notification Verification
- Verify you received the test booking confirmation email
- Check that the email looks professional (logo, branding, formatting)
- Confirm the email includes all necessary details (date, time, service, contact info)
- Verify the 'From' address looks legitimate (not spam-like)
- Check spam folder to ensure emails aren't being filtered
- Test with different email providers (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo) if possible
- Confirm internal notifications are working (if you have team members who need alerts)
7
Review Booker Settings and Branding
- Go to Dashboard → Settings → Booker and review all configuration
- Verify your company slug (booking page URL) is set and professional
- Check that your welcome message and company tagline are accurate
- Review theme colors - do they match your brand?
- Verify ZIP code validation settings if you use service area restrictions
- Confirm all text is free of typos and placeholder content
- Make sure your branding is consistent with your website and marketing materials
